María Cristina was born in San Fernando, province of Buenos Aires, Argentina, and has lived all her life in Tigre.
She is a teacher currently devoted to the artistic activity.
Cristina has been taught by prestigious Argentine artists; such as Sara Castro, Daniel Pellegata, Marcelo Bertolini, Rodolfo Insaurralde, Karin Gutman and Rubén Silva, Helena Distéfano, Heriberto Zorrilla who is the founder teacher of the pictorial movement called “Essentialsm”.
She has been granted several awards and acknowledgements for her works of art in different contests and exhibitions where she has participated. Some of her oil paintings have been acquired by foreigners and Argentine citizens for their private collections.
